Day 1: Casablanca → Rabat
Your grand tour begins upon your arrival in Casablanca. We'll greet you and proceed to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, a stunning example of Moroccan architecture perched on the edge of the Atlantic. After exploring this landmark, we'll take a short drive to Rabat, the nation's capital. You'll check into your hotel and then explore the city's key historical sites, including the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas and the iconic Hassan Tower.
Day 2: Rabat → Chefchaouen
After breakfast, we journey north into the heart of the Rif Mountains to discover Chefchaouen, the famous "Blue Pearl" of Morocco. The scenic drive itself is a highlight, with winding roads and stunning mountain vistas. Upon arrival, you'll have the afternoon to immerse yourself in the magical atmosphere of the medina, where every corner reveals a new shade of blue. Enjoy a relaxing evening in this serene mountain town.
Day 3: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
We depart from Chefchaouen and head towards Fes, with incredible historical stops along the way. First, we'll explore the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO World Heritage site with remarkably preserved mosaics. Next, we visit the imperial city of Meknes, admiring the monumental Bab Mansour gate and the historic Heri es-Souani granaries. We arrive in Fes in the evening, ready for your stay in a traditional riad.
Day 4: Fes Sightseeing Tour
Today is dedicated to exploring the spiritual and cultural capital of Morocco. With a licensed local guide, you'll dive into the labyrinthine alleys of the Fes el-Bali medina. The tour will take you to the famous Chouara Tanneries, the Al-Attarine Madrasa, the Nejjarine Fountain, and the Al-Karaouine Mosque & University. You'll experience the vibrant sensory overload of the souks before returning to your riad.
Day 5: Fes → Ifrane → Ziz Valley → Merzouga
Our journey south begins as we leave Fes and ascend into the Middle Atlas Mountains. We'll stop in Ifrane, the "Switzerland of Morocco," and the cedar forests of Azrou to see the native Barbary macaques. After traversing the mountains, the landscape opens up to the stunning Ziz Valley, a vast oasis of palm trees. By late afternoon, we arrive in Merzouga, where you'll spend the night in a comfortable hotel right at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Day 6: Sahara Desert Exploration & Camel Trek
This is your day for full desert immersion. After breakfast, we embark on a 4x4 adventure around the dunes, visiting the village of Khamlia to listen to soulful Gnawa music, meeting a local nomad family to learn about their resilient lifestyle, and exploring old mines. In the afternoon, you'll switch to a more traditional mode of transport—the camel—for a magical trek into the dunes to witness an unforgettable sunset before arriving at your desert camp for a night of Berber hospitality under the stars.
Day 7: Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
Wake up early to the breathtaking sight of the sunrise over the golden dunes. After breakfast, we leave the desert behind and head towards the mountains. Our first major stop is the spectacular Todra Gorges, where you can take a walk between the towering 300-meter-high canyon walls. We then continue our journey to the scenic Dades Valley, famous for its unique "monkey fingers" rock formations, where we'll spend the night.
Day 8: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Today we travel along the famous "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs." We pass through the Rose Valley on our way to Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa." The main highlight is the visit to the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage site. After exploring this ancient wonder, we cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass, arriving in the vibrant city of Marrakech in the evening.
Day 9: Full-Day Guided Tour in Marrakech
Discover the magic of the "Red City" with a full-day guided tour. Your local guide will lead you to Marrakech's most famous landmarks, including the serene Majorelle Garden, the Koutoubia Tower, the historic Saadian Tombs, and the opulent Bahia Palace. You'll dive into the bustling energy of the souks and experience the incredible spectacle of storytellers, musicians, and food stalls in the famous Djemaa el-Fna square.
Day 10: Departure from Marrakech
Enjoy a final Moroccan breakfast at your riad. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time for last-minute souvenir shopping or a final coffee at a rooftop cafe overlooking the city. We will then transfer you to Marrakech-Menara Airport for your departure, filled with incredible memories of your 10-day adventure.
