Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca & Transfer to Rabat
Your grand tour begins upon arrival at Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport. We'll greet you and proceed to the magnificent Hassan II Mosque, a stunning masterpiece of Moroccan architecture that seems to float above the Atlantic waves. After the visit, we'll take a short, comfortable drive to Rabat, the nation's capital, where you'll check into your authentic riad for the night and rest for the adventure ahead.
Day 2: Rabat → Asilah → Tangier
After a delicious Moroccan breakfast, we explore Rabat's historic sites, including the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas with its charming blue-and-white lanes, and the impressive Hassan Tower. Then, we drive up the scenic Atlantic coast to Asilah, a charming, white-washed town famous for its vibrant art festivals and murals. After a leisurely stroll through its peaceful medina, we continue north to the legendary port city of Tangier for the evening.
Day 3: Tangier → Rif Mountains → Chefchaouen
Today we explore Tangier, a city at the crossroads of Europe and Africa, which has inspired artists and writers for centuries. We'll visit Cap Spartel, the stunning viewpoint where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea, and the mythical Caves of Hercules. In the afternoon, we leave the coast and drive inland through the beautiful, rolling green hills of the Rif Mountains to reach the iconic blue city of Chefchaouen, nestled in a dramatic mountain setting.
Day 4: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Spend a delightful morning exploring the enchanting blue-washed streets of Chefchaouen's medina at your own pace. Later, we travel towards Fes, stopping to explore the impressive ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, a UNESCO site with stunningly preserved mosaics. We'll then visit the grand imperial city of Meknes before arriving in the cultural and spiritual heart of Morocco, Fes, for a two-night stay.
Day 5: Fes Sightseeing Tour
Immerse yourself in a full-day guided tour of Fes, Morocco's oldest imperial city. With a local guide, you'll navigate the labyrinthine alleys of the world's largest living medieval medina, visit the famous open-air tanneries, admire the intricate architecture of historic madrasas like Bou Inania, and see the world's oldest university, Al-Karaouine. The sensory experience of the souks is a true highlight.
Day 6: Fes → Ifrane → Atlas Mountains → Merzouga Desert
We leave the imperial city behind and journey south. Our scenic drive takes us through Ifrane, the "Switzerland of Morocco," and the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas, home to wild Barbary macaques. We'll travel through the vast Ziz Valley, a lush corridor of palm groves that cuts through the arid landscape, before the scenery transforms dramatically into the golden dunes of the Sahara at Merzouga.
Day 7: Sahara Exploration, Nomads & Camel Trek
A full day dedicated to the magic of the desert. We'll embark on a 4x4 adventure to visit the village of Khamlia to experience traditional Gnawa music, meet a local nomad family to share mint tea and learn about their way of life, and explore the desert's unique, fossil-rich landscapes. In the afternoon, you'll ride a camel into the heart of the dunes for a spectacular sunset and spend a magical night in a traditional Berber camp under a canopy of stars.
Day 8: Merzouga → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
Wake to a breathtaking desert sunrise over the Erg Chebbi dunes. After breakfast, we travel west towards the mountains, stopping at the magnificent Todra Gorges for a memorable walk through its towering, 300-meter-high canyon. Our day concludes in the stunning Dades Valley, famous for its dramatic red rock formations and winding roads, where we'll spend the night.
Day 9: Dades Valley → Ait Ben Haddou → Marrakech
Today we travel the famous "Road of a Thousand Kasbahs," passing through the fragrant Rose Valley and the film-making hub of Ouarzazate. The main highlight is exploring the iconic Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site and famous movie backdrop. Afterwards, we cross the majestic High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass (2260m), arriving in the vibrant red city of Marrakech in the evening.
Day 10: Marrakech Sightseeing Tour
Discover the "Red City" with a full-day guided tour. Your local guide will lead you through the opulent Bahia Palace, the historic Saadian Tombs, the iconic Koutoubia Mosque, and the labyrinthine souks, each with its own specialty. The day culminates with the unforgettable energy and spectacle of the famous Djemaa el-Fna square as it comes alive at dusk.
Day 11: Marrakech at Leisure

Day 12: Marrakech → Essaouira
Today we head to the coast for a change of pace. The drive to Essaouira takes us through a unique landscape dotted with Argan trees, where we may see the region's famous tree-climbing goats. We'll visit a women's Argan oil cooperative before arriving in the charming, windswept city of Essaouira for a relaxing overnight stay.
Day 13: Essaouira → Coastal Drive → Casablanca
Savor a final morning in the relaxed atmosphere of Essaouira, perhaps with a walk along the beach or a visit to the bustling fishing port to see the iconic blue boats. In the afternoon, we'll take a scenic drive up the Atlantic coast, passing through coastal towns, before arriving back where our journey began, in Casablanca, for your final night.
Day 14: Departure from Casablanca
After a final breakfast, and depending on your flight schedule, we will transfer you to Casablanca's Mohammed V Airport for your departure, marking the end of your complete and unforgettable grand tour of Morocco.
