Day 1

Marrakech to Essaouira and back

Driving: About 180 km each way, 2.5-3 hours

We pick you up at 8:00 in the morning and drive west to the Atlantic coast. On the way we stop to see goats in the argan trees and a women's argan oil cooperative. In Essaouira you walk the old ramparts, the fishing port, and the medina. Lunch is fresh fish at the port or in a small restaurant. You have free time to walk the beach. We drive back and reach Marrakech in the early evening.
